Using the Church Car Park
Please note that the church car park, along with its access road, is on private land and is only available for authorised users. It is intended primarily for church and hall users visiting for the purposes of worship or attending functions in the hall.
Authority to use the car park and access road is restricted to the following: -
- The vicar, priest in charge, curate or visiting clergy and their families
- Those attending official church services and other church events
- Hall users, hirers and invited guests
- Residents of the church flat and their visitors
- Traders, suppliers and utility undertakers servicing the church, halls or church land
- Any person specifically authorised by the vicar or Parochial Church Council
Unauthorised parking will be charged at the rate of £60 a day. This charge will be applied by attaching a Parking Charge Notice to the vehicle in question and/or by letter to the registered keeper of the vehicle. Unpaid parking charges will be pursued through the courts.
Users of this car park do so at their own risk. The church will not accept liability for any damage, accidents or loss of property caused to unauthorised vehicles parked in the car park.
These restrictions are necessary to ensure that the intended purposes of the church and halls are not impeded.
